Lincoln High School PTSA

We will be holding elections at our next meeting on April 20, 2023. The meeting will be held online at 6:30pm.

We are still looking for volunteers to fill some of the positions – please consider joining the PTSA board. This is a great way to get involved at Lincoln High School and support all aspects of the community.

The Nominating Committee has presented the following slate of officers for the 2023-24 school year:

GRADUATING SENIORS! Each year, the Lincoln High School PTSA offers scholarships to graduating seniors who are members of the PTSA. Scholarships of $500 each will be awarded and our scholarships are not based on family income.

To qualify, students must be graduating this current 2022-2023 school year, have 2.5 or higher GPA, must have been a member of PTSA by February 17, 2023, and must complete a scholarship application by the deadline, April 14, 2023 at 5:00pm.

The LHS PTSA invites you to support our teachers, staff and students by donating school supplies for our classrooms! Teachers/staff frequently spend their own money to provide basic school supplies for our students. Please consider donating school supplies to our community! You can purchase specific supplies and bring them to the PTSA event on September 8 at 7pm in the Lincoln Center, or you can make a monetary donation and we can purchase the supplies. Whatever you choose, we thank you in advance and appreciate your support!

The Lincoln PTSA is so excited to welcome new and returning families to the 2022-2023 school year. Please see the flyer below for more information on upcoming PTSA events and how you can support the Lincoln High School community.

The PTSA hopes you will attend our meeting Thursday, April 21 at 7:00pm.  All are welcome to attend.

The current plan is to have this meeting in-person at Lincoln High School! — our first in-person PTSA meeting in a long time. Details are still TBD, but in the past the PTSA meetings have been held in the Lincoln Center building.

We plan to have Principal Joseph Heffernan or school administration representative at the meeting, a great opportunity to meet some of the school staff and ask your questions.

Some of the topics that we plan to discuss at the meeting:

• 2022-2023 PTSA board elections
• PTSA Senior scholarships
• PTSA Family Mentor program

Update: Applications for 2022 scholarship are now closed.

Each year the Lincoln High School PTSA awards scholarships of typically $500 each to several graduating seniors who are members of the PTSA. A selection committee chooses winners from among the students who apply.

The application form is online and is available now. Eligible Seniors should submit their applications soon, as there is a firm deadline on April 17.
